As part of the One World Bank push, there are ongoing discussions around merging the various Independent Accountability Mechanisms (Inspection Panel and Compliance Advisor Ombudsman). A Task Force set up to explore options released a report on 26 March, open for public consultation. Instead of addressing existing gaps, the report largely focuses on administrative reorganisation for ‘efficiency and cost-effectiveness.’ Read the comments submitted to the Task Force by CFA below.
