Industrial Corridors are spreading like a plague in this country. Paralyzing the democratic and participatory framework achieved till now through various people’s movements. This workshop will be able to demystify the plans, proposals, and realities of the industrial corridors which is going to establish not only industrial areas or investments regions but changing the whole pattern of infrastructure in the country. The proposed model of governance will prove to be fatal at various places subverting the fundamental rights of the people and pushing the natural resources at the verge of privatization and grab by industrialists and foreign players. Through this workshop, we will be attempting to expose the realities of the growing web of industrial corridors and its likely impacts.
