Working with the Centre for Financial Accountability offers the chance to challenge dominant narratives about finance and development while amplifying voices often silenced, those of marginalized communities, workers, and the environment. In media and communications, your words and creativity can expose injustice, question power, and inspire change. At CFA, you’ll shape stories that connect global financial policies to people’s daily lives, making complex issues accessible and urgent. This is an opportunity to contribute to accountability, transparency, and equity, while building narratives of resistance, resilience, and hope that can mobilize communities and influence decision-makers worldwide.

The Media and Communication Assistant will play a key role in amplifying the visibility of CFA’s programmes, campaigns, and core issues across print, visual, and digital platforms, while ensuring consistent and effective organisational branding in line with collective decisions. At the same time, this role offers a dynamic and rewarding space to grow as a communicator, working on issues that truly matter. You will gain hands-on experience across writing, design, video, and digital strategy, collaborating closely with researchers, activists, and grassroots movements. It’s an opportunity to sharpen your storytelling, experiment with creative approaches, and build meaningful networks within the media and civil society space. If you are curious, politically aware, and excited about using media as a tool for accountability and change, this position offers both purpose and professional growth in a collaborative environment.
